Set up a Galaxy Watch with your iPhone

Before you start

  1. Your Galaxy Watch needs a one-time setup with an Android phone (a borrowed one is fine).
  2. Your iPhone needs iOS 17.2 or newer.

Install Tandem

  1. On the watch, open Google Play and install Tandem.
  2. On the iPhone, install Tandem from the App Store.

Pair

  1. Open Tandem on the watch. It shows a code and a QR code.
  2. Scan the QR code with your iPhone camera and tap the Tandem link.
  3. Check that both screens show the same 6 digits, then tap They match on both.

Share notifications

  1. Keep the iPhone close with Tandem open. Tap Search on the watch.
  2. When your iPhone asks to share notifications with the watch, tap Allow.
