What works, in each direction
Some limits come from Apple and Google, not from us. We list them plainly so there are no surprises.

| Reply to messages Plus | Partly · EU only (iOS 26.5+) | Yes · Apps with a reply button |
| Call alerts Plus | Yes · Answer and talk on most watches | Partly · Answer, decline, silence — talk on phone or earbuds |
| Talk on the watch during calls | Yes · Most watches | No · Not available: Android doesn't allow it |
| Music control | Yes · Play, skip, volume | Yes · Play, skip, volume, artwork |

Talking on an Apple Watch during Android calls is not available. Each watch needs a one-time activation with a phone from its own maker (Apple Watch with an iPhone, Wear OS watches with an Android phone). A borrowed phone is fine.
